Beech, Cedar and Willow classes
KS1 are going to be very busy this term with lots of different outings, activities and learning. The children have been working very hard in English learning to write their own stories this half-term, which are fantastic! They have also enjoyed learning about the ‘World Around Us’, exploring the UK and comparing it to another country, Australia. They loved finding out about traditional ways of life, as well as the interesting wildlife that lives in Australia.
Next half-term looks set to be just as busy. Our new topic is called ‘Buildings and Structures’ and the children will be exploring different materials, as well as creating their own designs and structures. Thank you for all the recycling materials that everyone has donated. It is much appreciated!
Look at our new book area, isn’t it great!
